The Inner Reaches
The inner reaches, extend into the mountain, from the top. This is where the army forges their weapons and gets the metal from. There are small pools of lava that light this smokey, dark, humid and terrible place. This is where the king normally resides in his chambers ordering his workers around. Do not anger him, it may be the last thing you ever do.
